During this time of Thanksgiving, we are reminded of how thankful we are to have such great supporters. Because of your support over the last fiscal year, Quality Trust was able to:

• Ensure more than 250 people with developmental disabilities received the services and supports they needed.

• Support more than 150 family members responsible for the care of a person with developmental disabilities.

• Help 70 people with developmental disabilities understand their right to make their own choices.

• Educate hundreds of people with developmental disabilities and family members about their rights and the services available to them in DC.

We hope that you all are able to spend your Thanksgivings with those most important in your lives and your biggest supporters. And, please remember, after you’ve stuffed yourselves with turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie (well, that’s what I stuff myself with), that Giving Tuesday starts on Tuesday, December 3, and kicks off this year’s end-of-year giving for important causes like the advocacy that Quality Trust provides for people with developmental disabilities in DC.
