Join our Community of Volunteers
Quality Trust welcomes volunteers from diverse backgrounds who have variety of talents who are committed to supporting our work. We have ongoing opportunities to get involved directly with people who have developmental disabilities and their families or you can support our work by assisting staff in other ways.
We know that our volunteers are busy juggling many commitments and we will work with you to find the “right” fit for your schedule!
Ways to Contribute
Citizen Advocacy: Assist people with developmental disabilities to be safe, healthy and make connections within the community.
One-On-One In-Home Support: Create long-term relationships with families where a member has developmental disabilities and provide one to one in-home support.
Self-Advocacy Support: Work closely with Project ACTION!, a local group of advocates with disabilities who can use assistance. We partner with them to make certain their activities are successful.
Community Outreach: Help spread the word about Quality Trust’s mission and build support for people with developmental disabilities! I f communication is your talent, you can help us tell the stories of the people we meet and why the work of Quality Trust is so important.
Digital Media: If you are a wiz with technology and social media, you can help us drive our social media strategy to inform and connect people with disabilities and other interested community members.
Fundraising: Use your networking skills to raise donations for Quality Trust. You can volunteer as a member of our Development Committee or create your own strategy to expand our donor base by writing letters, creating a challenge campaign or throwing a friend-raising party!
Event Planning: We have an active calendar of awareness and fundraising events and we can always use an extra hand (or two) with planning, outreach, and set-up. If you enjoy planning and executing unique, fun and productive events, we can use your help!
Contact us if you are interested in contributing. We’d love to hear from you!
